Gears definitely has amazing graphics, but i have to tip my hat to Bioshock. The game is visually stunning and the environment is beautifully designed. I think Bioshock ran on the Unreal Engine, just like Gears did.Best game visually to date for the Xbox ...
Gears had a boring colour palette sticking to a lot of grey and other grubby colours.Mass Effect has some stunning scenery when you go exploring uncharted worlds. Also wandering around the Citadel is nothing short of spectacular the first time you see it.
Mass Effect's visuals have impressed me the most. This games looks amazing. From the Citadel to the facial expressions on Commander Shepard, it simply looks stunning. I was amazed at how detailed Mass Effect really was.
Well you can't argue with any of those 3 really. Gears Bioshock and Mass Effect. I think Gears 2 will hold the crown for a little while when it comes out. The backgrounds look amazing.Dead Space doesn't look bad at all either.
I personally like the way Battlefield Bad Company looks and feels. When I'm in a gold rush match defending I sometimes feel like I'm actually hiding in a bunch of brush or kneeling down in a building for cover. GTA also had good graphics and physics.

Mass Effect had some great graphics sure, but for me they seemed a little too good for the Xbox to handle. There were quite a few moments where characters would appear, and then their details would load in shortly after.The original Gears still looks fantastic, as does The Darkness. Both Condemned games look good too (especially the second one) and I'm loving the visuals for Dead Space at the mo. Although the lighting does get a little glitchy when it's bright, but that's hardly ever in this game.

Have you guys tried UT3? It is by far the most impressive looking game. It looks like a more detailed and bright version of Gears. Assassin's Creed, Gears and Mass Effect were all awesome too. I didn't think BioShock was that good looking, to be honest. I expect Gears 2 to take the belt back when it comes out though.
IMO Halo3 is one of the best but most will desagree :P
Gears n Bioshock. Haven't played Mass Effect. Gears 2 looks like it will be even better so will probably hold the crown soon.
Mass effect is the best for me, going to the moon and seeing the earth over the horizon is awesome and the citadel looks great too. Assassins Creed is the runner up, although i really liked the cell shading for eternal sonata.
Prince of Persia.Nothing beat it this gen.

Hmmm Mass Effect...Really!? I didn't think it looked that good at all.I would go with Bioshock just a little above Oblivion witch is very nice graphically as well.I found gears to be a little drab even with the video setting changed to vibrant or whatever the setting was.
Oh man how could I forget. Have any of you played Pure? No lies when I say its one of the best looking games I have EVER seen.
