ok so last week i did that deal at toys r us and got two new games and got one free....i got SR2 and dead space...but i had NO CLUE what else to get...i looked at lost odyssey, i remember looking at videos and pics of the game and it looked like a rather good RPG, reminded me alot of FFX, but i never really tried it out before so i couldn't pick that one to be my free game so i found too human...a couple months back when the demo was released i tried the game and i absolutely LOVED the demo...lots of people hated it so much, but i just loved it but i read the reviews and the user reviews weren't so great...everyone calls it a love it or hate it game...now since i loved the demo i should have no problem loving the full game right? but LO looks very good too and good turn based RPG's are very hard to come by this genre for those who have played both...which do u think is the better FREE game to have? oh and btw i have too human right now, but i can take it back for LO if u guys think i should, lol oh...and don't tell me to get fable 2 because i just got that today, lolEDIT: Please keep questions relating to ''which game should I get?'' et cetera to the dedicated 360 Recommendation Thread, which is stickied at the top of the forum. Many thanks. - gbrading.Keep Too Human???
Honestly? I would choose Lost Odyssey, it's a very long engrossing game and therefore a better value in my opinion. :)Keep Too Human???
I loved the demo of too human also, I just rented Too Human for a couple of days and that is prob the most I will play too human again.Lost Odyssey is superb if you do in fact enjoy turn based RPG's then you can do no wrong with LO.Answer= LO
LO by a landslide.
Too Human definitely. I loved the demo, and love Diablo-style games.I also don't like turn-based JRPGs, which pretty much eliminates Lost Odyssey
Did anyone else feel like the makers of Too Human forgot to make the second half of the game, I was getting into it and it was over with most of the storyline unfinished. Definetly go for LO, Too Human will only disappoint you

Fair enough but still feel i got very little story for my money and that while ok quality the gameplay is very repetitive. It almost felt like the game was leading towards something great before it abruptly finished.
Get Too Human, there is a lot of replayability, lots of sweet loot to collect and the game is great and lots of fun, especially when played co-op. Don't pass out a game that was wrongfully thrown into the ''crap'' category by most. It has a great online community also.
Wish I could bring my Too Human back, the game is great until you beat it with a friend. Keep in mind multiplayer has none of the story line. The game just gets boring as hell and feels like a free grindfest mmo - the mmo.
um or how about far cry 2 or fable 2??? i mean honestly both those games are a lot better than lost oddysey and too human. i am not a jrpg fan, so lo didnt appeal to me, even though a friend insisted i play it. im not a huge turn based game fan, but too human i did thoroughly enjoy, even though i hated the demo, and i became addicted to it and put in 50 hours in about 2 weeks. with that being said though, far cry 2 or fable 2 are on a different level than too human and i would suggest them, but between lo and too human i vote too human
He said dont tell him to get Fable 2 because he just got it! Anyway of those 2 I'd get Lost Odyssey. I'd also get other games instead of either of those, such as Tales Of Vesperia (if you want an RPG) or Far Cry 2.I see lost Odyssey on Ebay is like 30.00...I'd get something that's newer (you can since your other 2 games are new and so would have cost 60$ each) and get Lost Odyssey later if you want it.If you use ebay you could get a game like far cry 2 with the toys r us deal and sell it on ebay, then use that money to buy lost odyssey if you want. And I see Too Human on ebay for like 35.00. you could buy a new game that will sell well (like far cry 2) sell it on ebay, then use that money towards the purchase of both lost odyssey AND Too Human.. I dunno get creative lol
I don't think you can return the free game. I know someone else on here posted about how to use Toys 'R' Us's buy 2 get 1 free deal. The person had stated to make sure the free game you get is the one you want, as you can only return the games you paid for. You might be stuck with Too Human my friend. :?
if you loved the demo you will love the full game because its pretty much the same thing.
LO by a landslide.
LO was good but no replay value...but i havent played too human besides the demo
Thanks for all the responses, but all of em are pretty much half and half, lmao
i'm leaning towards keeping too human and just getting LO down the road...RPG's are VERY time consuming and with all the great games i just bought this past two weeks and all the great games still on the way, i don't think i'll have enough time to shuffle through an RPG
RPGs aren't meant to be shuffled through as most of em are pieces of art and need full attention to remember the story and get fully immersed in it...plus i bought blue dragon awhile back while it was on sale for $20 and i LOVED the game, fantastic...but i didn't get too far into it and now because it's been so long since i've played it and i've played many more games, i feel that i have to start over to get the full effect of it...idk, maybe i'm just weird when it comes to RPGs, haha
also...one last question
for those who have played LO AND FFX
are they anything alike? i hear that LO is a mix of FFVIII and FFX...which btw are my two most favorite RPGs ever, so that's why LO caught my interest
like i said in the first post, LO looks alot like FFX in art style
